Thank you for downloading Outliner for PalmPilot. We hope you find it useful. If you feel the software suits your needs, you'll have to register your copy (shareware, $19) to take full advantage of the software. The version provided in this archive contains the full software, but as long as you've not entered your registration name and code, you can only create two outlines (with any number of items in them) for evaluation purposes.
Installing the software on your PalmPilot
Please use the USR's INSTALL application to prepare for installing Outliner on your PalmPilot. The application file in this archive is outliner.prc. Once installed, do a HotSync with your PalmPilot, then you are ready to use the software!
Upgrading from previous versions
Unless you had problems with the outlines from the previous version, do not delete Outliner from your PalmPilot. Just install the new one, it'll take the place of the version you had on your PalmPilot.
Known problems on Macintosh
Due to a bug in HotSync, databases are backuped but may not always be uploaded back to the PalmPilot after a hard reset. I'm working on a "fix application" for this which corrects the error introduced by HotSync into the Outliner database. As far as I know, this problem only arises with PalmOS 2.0.x.
